We had a lovely two nights stay at this beautiful hotel during the end of August. Upon arrival Nicky, Mark and team were so warm and welcoming. They really couldn't do more for us. The views in and around the valley are just gorgeous. There are plenty of lovely walks and a fab gallery across the road with some absolute gems! It's a cyclists heaven with spectacular views all round. The food was outstanding !!! A perfect place to unwind in the stunning garden or sit in front of the fire with a glass of wine! We will definitely be re booking for winter 21. Thanks Nicky, Mark and Team for a special break :) Rebecca & Euros xxx

Went as a party of 9 friends. 2 night stay. Wendy and her team couldn't do enough for us, to make our stay very easy, and very pleasant. Very comfortable rooms, great food, and drink too. The choice of cosy rooms, with roaring fires means you could chill out and chat very easily. Definately will be back.

We stopped here on our way through, not quite by accident, just before the end of their lunch serving. We were welcomed in with the dog too and nothing was too much trouble. The owner was polite, attentive without being intrusive and very welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic and worth the money spent. Quite possibly the best pub food we have had!

Thank you Mark and Nicky for the most wonderful stay. After being let down by our accommodation late on Saturday night in rural wales with no phone signal, we stumbled across The West Arms a hidden gem. We were immediately put at ease, finding us a last minute room, whilst we had wine and the most amazing dinner. Above and beyond service, a beautiful location, lovely rooms, a very comfy bed and the most wonderful people. I could not recommend them more. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location and we really enjoyed our short stay here. The hosts Nicky and Mark and their staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was huge, the best and most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed in. The interior of the hotel is beautifully furnished with a number of comfortable public rooms with lovely warm real fires kept going all day, ideal for relaxing after a hard day's sight seeing! All the food we had was fantastic, really good quality with a chef that clearly knows what they are doing. Lamb and beef from the local farms was delicious and the combinations of flavours and textures were really well balanced. Highly recommended, thanks.

We wanted to go somewhere different for our wedding anniversary and it was the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend The West Arms highly enough. We were made very welcome, and the food was stunning. Not cheap, but I would rather pay more for a really, really nice meal than an average price for an average meal. It's probably the nicest meal we have had in years and we cannot wait to visit again. The whole building was gorgeous and we definitely would like to stay over next time we visit

We wanted to take our community volunteers and supporters someone very special to say thank you and the West Arms was certainly that! After walking 8 miles over the mountains from the Glyn Valley with 32 hungry hikers and 3 lively hounds, we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome by Mark & Nicky. The dining room is beautiful, with a warm cosy fire, spectacular views and very dog friendly! Every course of our meal was beautiful and everyone was delighted - great beers/wines etc too. The service was excellent, even though we were such a large party. The team at the West Arms are fabulous hosts and we can't wait to return!
